My Not-So-Tragic Tragedy

But the eyes of the LORD are on those who fear him, on those whose hope is in his unfailing love, to deliver them from death and keep them alive in famine. My problems with my car has never stopped since I had it repainted a year ago.  Come to think of it, I spent almost 100,000 on the endless repairs that the car has to undergo.  For the past 2 months, my car troubles have become frequent. I took the car for a check up last Saturday and scheduled it to be "overhauled" this coming Saturday.

And so tragedy of the "overheat".  A few weeks ago, I was on my way to Greenhills to attend the weekly Church service, but it rained so hard that traffic was so bad.  I had to make a U-turn because I wasn't going to make it on time. Just as I was right in front of Shell in Macapagal Blvd., I noticed the needle of my car temperature was at its MAXIMUM. I pulled over to the gas station and asked for water. I stayed there for awhile and waited for the traffic to become lighter.  No car trouble for the next few days, I figured the water evaporated because I parked in an area exposed to the sun.

Last night, I experienced another overheat.  This time, I didn't notice the needle was already at maximum, I lost control of the car, the brakes did not work, and the motor just stopped working.  THANK GOD, I was once again right in front of another gas station.  I asked for help once again, and they noticed that my radiator had a crack.  I was really nervous to drive home because it was already 11:30 pm, the attendants at the gas station assured me that I was going to be OK, as long as I stop to pour water every few kilometers.

THIS IS A TRUE TESTIMONY OF HIS FAITHFULNESS:  Everyday I would pray to God to keep me and my loved ones safe and healthy.  Despite the car problems, I had them when people will be there to help me. That I was kept out of harm's way. And I am TRULY THANKFUL.

He reached down from on high and took hold of me; he drew me out of deep waters.  He rescued me from my powerful enemy, from my foes, who were too strong for me.  They confronted me in the day of my disaster, but the LORD was my support.
